黃妍（Cath），為Sony Music O.U.R. Works旗下唱作歌手，於台北busking演出而被發掘。她在2018年於各大音樂頒獎禮贏得新人獎。
Cath發行的三張專輯《黃妍說》、《九道痕跡》及《4891》均備受好評，其中兩首單曲〈我心中尚未崩壞的部分〉及〈天光前〉為她帶來音樂上的突破。另於2022年推出的單曲〈世界以痛吻我而我歌唱〉更成為其首支三台冠歌曲。她的音樂漸受肯定，並在2021及2022年吒咤樂壇流行榜頒獎典禮中分別奪得「叱咤樂壇女歌手」銀獎及銅獎，為她的音樂路展開新的一頁。
2023年，她舉行了第三個個人音樂會「Blooming Underwater」，以歌曲編排及表演贏得觀眾的讚賞。同年推出的專輯《4891》，以音樂與文學作品結合，廣受好評。

A singer-songwriter under Sony Music’s O.U.R. Works label, Cath has released three studio albums. Her breakthrough came with singles ‘The Unbroken Part of Me’ and ‘Before Dawn’, embracing a diversity of styles and mood as her music evolves. Followed by the success of her 2022 single ‘The World Kissed Me with Pain and I Sing’ which topped three No.1’s on local pop charts. Every little success adds up – Cath has won Best Female Singer Silver and Bronze at Ultimate Song Chart Awards in 2021 and 2022 respectively, turning a new page in her music career.
Her third music show “Blooming Underwater” in 2023 has won the hearts of the audience with her mesmerizing performance and a great concert program and theme.
